First kiss of the new year
Then some of us couldn’t wait to get our hands on those sparklers again
Some of us showed off how good they are getting at standing all alone and then walking off when mummy wants to take a photo. And some off us, after being woken at quarter to twelve demand quite forcefully at ten to twelve to be put to bed and left alone, sorry future Lilly we tried.
She really believes she’s a fairy in this shot.
Now Eli is not the biggest fan of loud noises or anything to bright and in your face. He really doesn’t like anything unpredictable. So so far tonight he has discerningly chosen to stay inside during those moments. We did however manage to entice him outside for the last hurrah before bedtime. But he still wouldn’t try till we were down to the last one. Now even thought he wasn’t interested tonight he’d be disappointed tomorrow if there was no photo’s of him with a sparkler so you’ll understand how panicky we got when the very last one was lit and he straight away took off down the backyard and out of sight. Our poor neighbours were bombarded by frantic calls from all of us trying to entice him back up. Finally we hit on a winner “Eli! RUN AROUND THE WASHING LINE!!!” we all screamed at 12:30 in a fairly quiet neighbourhood, and he did.
Cool photo hey?
So a very Happy New Year from all of us to you now we just have to get one very hyped up baby back to sleep and we can crash too.
I love it. The photos are fantastic, such rich colours! What camera are you using? xx
Great version of the Slaven new year. Wish I could of stayed longer and done the New Year thing too.
