A little bit of an obsession going on around here. If I let him wear black we are ready in 10 seconds flat if I try and introduce a colour we have hysterics for the rest of the day. I’m not really complaining as far as obsessions go it isn’t the worst, the high pitched chirping noise he kept up for three weeks straight or the clicking at the beginning of every sentence those ones got a bit much at least this it silent. I just have to get over the fear that everyone at the shops thinks I’m a bad mother because I allow my son to dress as the Grim Reaper. Or maybe they think he is just bright for his age and we’ve accelerated him to the Emo stage.

It’s not so much the black, well, except for days like this one were all the normal black clothes were in the wash, it’s more the flowing black cape that he insists on wearing everywhere that gets the looks. In this photo he is wearing a pair of formal pants he wore to my brothers wedding when he was three and a inside out T-shirt so that it is all black, never mind the fact that the picture on the shirt is of Hagrid and he hangs off every word of the Harry Potter book I’m reading out loud at the moment. But at least he’s well behaved in black unless I let him have a drink of water, I over heard Super Black educating his little sister the other day.

“Don’t tell them it’s not real water” he whispered seriously in her ear as they sipped from their bottles “They don’t know that it’s really Super Fast Energy Coke water and if you drink it you can turn into Running Girl and I can fly.”

What a riot! I got quite a chuckle out of this one…especially that last bit! And, I think he pulls off black rather nicely.

So all clothing presents MUST be black is that right?
This is a very funny post
