from my lingerie angels and dressing gown wise man, my thrown together costumes (pulled mostly from my underwear draw) for our church’s Christmas eve family dress up service. That’s what the poor kids end up with when the adults get it into their heads that they can finish the lounge room walls and get the TV mounted for Christmas.

Um, notice the walls in the background, the plaster covered, cord dangling no where near finished walls….yeah we totally failed. When the kids went to bed on Christmas eve we didn’t even have a tree up Glenn and I set it all up while they were in bed using a borrowed tree Mum and Dad found in their garage. The kids had no idea we were doing it.  DSC00889

They were suitably impressed.
By the way that face in the foreground is what you get when you ask Sabi to show her beautiful smile.
I’m not going to show the presents now, we chose to go as handmade as we could and got some gorgeous things from Made It and the rest I made myself so I’ll show them when I have time and space to do them credit.

After breakfast we went to Church where we watched a spontaneous Hallelujah Flash mob from Canada over the internet and were reminded to look at Jesus for what he was, is, and will always be, our saviour our only way to God not just a baby in a manger.

Here’s the video, very cool, made me all warm and fuzzy.

Then we went to Mum and Dads for lunch with my brother in person and my sister in Skype.

And with the wonders on modern technology, and my niece’s new laptop, we shared Christmas lunch together.

And even thought Jill was two days drive away at the pointy end of Australia, we were able to share meals, play games, open presents together and share a family Christmas. We really do live in the future.

Hope your Christmas was full of fun, family, food and the love and peace of God brought to us the undeserving by a baby who is a king.
